It started real early, Hannah arose at 5:00AM, but had to wait. Isaiah finally came and jumped on our bed at 6:45. We mustered the energy to get up, after a full night at Grace with three Christmas Eve services, followed by a trip to Mishawaka for supper, and a ride through Winding Brook Development, to look at Christmas lights.
God has been so good to us this year, we have seen him provide in amazing ways for us. We enjoyed the early blitz of tearing open gifts. Each kid opens a gift and we proceed, until all have been opened. Lots of memories were built, again this morning.
Anne and I enjoyed a fantastic cup of coffee on her new senseo coffee maker as the morning unfolded
Hannah received a new guitar and already has Smoke On The Water figured out.
Isaiah opened a box that contained a 410/ 22 shotgun rifle combo. Oh by the way I fired a shot into the back yard, from the open door in the kitchen!
Josh unpacked some nice clothes and a variety of colognes.
Gaute and Josh both received snow boards, that we plan on using this afternoon, as I pull them with my jeep in the back field.
Anne and I received lots of nice things too, but we really enjoyed watching our kids unwrap their gifts. Thanks Jesus for another Christmas with my family, they are a tremendous blessing to me. I love you Jesus!
