T-Ball to Sectional Champs

Last night, Fairfield's Varsity Baseball team won the Sectional Championship at Westview. We won a close 2-1 ball game. It was a incredible evening for us, as we have watched many of these guys play baseball since t-ball.
In fact, as I sat there during the evening and looked around there were some of the same people, much older of course, cheering on the team. A lot goes into a win like this. And one of the primary things that this team has, is just that, they are team! They really like each each other, and bring out the best in one another.
Josh's junior class has played a lot of ball together, and gathered for a photo with the trophy.
While the celebration was going on, Isaiah was dreaming of one day doing the same thing. He ran to the mound and pretended to be the pitcher. It is always good to dream big!
On our way home, Doug Beck, a father of one of the players (Josh), placed this sign in his front yard. Way to go guys, we will be cheering you on in the Regionals this Saturday! Hey Josh, even if you didn't win the sectionals, all those times with you in the back yard playing pitch and catch would have still been worth it! Proud of you SON! Go Falcons!
