Staff Fun

We hung out together as a staff at the Boyts Lakehouse this weekend. Every year Deb and Ed host the pastor's families from both campuses. It is so much fun to gather and just enjoy each other.

It is great team building time as a staff. Each year Ed tries to kill the pastors on the tubes, I'm serious about that. His greatest joy is to make sure every one of us gets flipped off the tube at 400 miles per hour.

We also get on a raft called the UFO. This raft is a challenge to get on a plane and once you do, it begins to spin like a tea-cup from Disney World. Needless to say don't eat chicken before you ride it. The four of us pictured above kicked its butt!

We closed out the evening out with a ride around the lake on his pontoon boat with all the kids. It sure was a hoot to hang with this group. I love these guys and their families and am grateful to be able to serve with them.
It was a great way to put an end to a phenomenal Sunday where God showed up in a big way! In fact, Jeremiah said it like this, "what a way to end a day where our hearts are clean and our bodies are physically tired!"
