This is fun at any level

There are some things in life that are just fun. One of these things is a Home-run hit in baseball. At every level of baseball, a player wants to go yard.

And it is the sweetest when your team wins. It doesn't have near the punch in my mind, if you lose, because it is a team sport. Yet, when you go yard, and it helps your team win then it is all the sweeter.

Josh hit a 2-run homer in the bottom of the 5th to give his team a 5-3 lead.

Besides all of that, I know how hard my son works, and desires for his team to win. This was his second homer of the season, yet he treated it like another hit that helped the team. That is what encourages me the most about Josh. He wants to do well, but he wants it to happen so that his team does well.

By the way this is a great group of kids and coaches and if you didn't know it, they are 10-0 and #2 in the state. Way to go Josh, we are proud of you and so is your little brother, it gives him bragging rights too, as he talks to his buddies.
