Cubs Win

With darkness creeping in, and the innings piling up. the CUBS won a big game at New Paris Little League.

Our boys found themselves in a 10 inning duel with the undefeated Marlins, and we came out on top. It was so much fun as all the other diamonds were empty of teams, yet we played on.

Isaiah and his teammates were pumped to pull this one out. Isaiah spent time behind the plate as catcher.

A time to fire them up between innings...

Every pitch mattered last night, and our guys played well defensively.
It came down to a 4th grader throwing a 100 mph fastball, to strike out a Marlin, to win the game. Well, maybe a little exaggeration there, but the way the team jumped and piled on him it sure did feel that way.
Cubs Win, Cubs Win, Cubs Win! ... at least they do in New Paris
