Do you ever feel this way? Or have you said I will play it by ear? It seems that many people still aimlessly hope for the best in their lives and end up doing the same thing day after day, week after week, and end their lives falling way short of what God had intended for them.
At a recent Wild at Heart retreat we blindfolded men and asked them to follow the voice of their teammate on the mountainside some 100 yards away. It was a great contest because you really had to listen to the right voice or you ended up banging your head against a tree.
Pull away today and ask God what he wants to do with your life, spend time meditating on Scripture and listen for the whispers of the Holy Spirit. You might be surprised what he wants to do through you and lead you.
Many are the plans in a man's heart but it is Lord's purpose that prevails. Proverbs 19:21
