It's True

30 years ago as a 19 year old young man I was able to get tickets to the NFC Championship game between the Redskins and Cowboys. At a crucial point in the game the cameras panned the stands and "yours truly" was front and center. My parents phone rang off the hook as many friends who were watching the game couldn't believe I was there.

I have told this story and it has almost become an urban legend because no tape could be found. But I found it on youtube and shared it during my sermon yesterday. At the 4:26 point you will see me . Fun moment and it really work well as a sermon illustration.
