Friends

Friends are priceless when you find yourself away from home for the holidays. Full-time Ministry often gives you the opportunity to create new traditions at holiday times. Today we had the Kropfs join us as we shared our meal together.

Thanks Jesus for good friends, good food, and good memories! Feeling blessed today for the gift of friendship!

Friends

God never intended for us to do life alone. Community is pictured all through the Bible. So when you find a friend that can be trusted it is a priceless gift.

Josh and Micah have known each other since preschool. They have shared tons of time together, and have been there supporting each other on. I love this picture above as they share a fun moment together. Micah, I am excited to see how God is going to use you in the future bud!

Hannah has many friends too, and here is one of her close friends, Katy. In fact, the two of them spent the last ten days house sitting for a neighbor of ours. They have shared a lot of fun times together on the XC course and track.

I love this picture of them just living it up! Katy, I can't wait to see how God is going to use you in the future too.

Take time today and call up a friend and say thanks!

Proverbs 18:24 A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

Friends

Friends are priceless in this crazy cosmos that we call home. Often the simplicity of an ice cream cone at the Chief is as good as it gets. Isaiah and his buddy, Joel are scarfing down some cones after 9 holes at Timber Ridge golf course with Anne and me.
As I snapped this photo I wondered what two 10 year-olds were discussing? Maybe they figured out how waffles were grafted into cones. Needless to say they were not the least bit concerned with figuring out the world's economic downturn, or how they could trade in their clunkers and get a new Jeep Commander. I wonder if God smiled as his two little children felt complete peace, when the economy was twirling around them? I think we have a lot to learn from these two friends!
