I love the look on my son's face here, in a varsity game last week at Fairfield. He is glued to the hoop. He is thinking in his mind, that he will make it. He is focused and determined to make it. A lot of emotion runs through me as I look at this photo. I remember all the hours in the driveway, that he has spent practicing this shot. I remember all the hours I spent coaching him, and helping to develop his skills.
I love the effort he gives, game in and game out. I love it when he dives on the floor and goes after a loose ball. I love it when he dishes out a sweet assist. I love it when he makes a basket in traffic. I love his will to win.
What I want to say is this: Josh, as I sit in the stands and watch you play I am bursting on the inside with this statement " I am proud of you son!" I love the way you play the game!
