Happy Terpday

Some of you might not know, but I am a Maryland Terps Fan! I know, the last recognition most of you have of the Terps, is their victory over IU in the National Championship game,a few years back. I must admit I still enjoy that victory.
This weekend was my birthday, and I was treated to a Terps game at the Comcast Center, in College Park Maryland. Wow, it was a blast, to take my family to this game. We have often talked about going to a game together, and we finally saw that dream realized. We definitely had great expectations going into the game.

We took time to pet the turtle before we walked in to the Comcast Center, we knew they would play like a champion today!

We even got to see the National Championship trophy they won against IU. Oh how sweet it is...

I popped off a view of the Center before the game began. It seats almost 20,000 people. Maryland ranked 5th in the country last year for average attendence...

The opening tip went to Maryland...

We watched with great interest and cheered the Terps on...

The kids were given spinners to spin during the visitors free-throws.

Isaiah was a big fan, in fact, he got on the jumbo screen four times as he did a dance in the seats, during time-outs.

The best part, was the final score...

It was a great way to celebrate my birthday, with my family.
