unemployment

These are the most recent unemployment figures for Elkhart County

Elkhart County’s unemployment rate has continued to skyrocket, rising to 18.3 percent in January, according to figures released this afternoon from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. The numbers show an increase of 3 percent over December’s level, and a 13-percent increase since January of 2008.The surrounding counties have continued to keep pace with the gloomy number, some gaining on Elkhart County.LaGrange County follows with 18 percent, Noble County jumped a whopping 3.1 percent to land at 17.9 percent unemployment and Kosciusko County also had a 3 percent increase to reach 14 percent.
But, I believe God can do something unbelievable through his people, if we tap into our unfair advantage, of the Holy Spirit. A few weeks back, we gathered as a church, to seek God in this matter. We spent an evening in prayer, worship, and idea gathering. Out of that meeting, a business review team was assembled. The progress of this team can be visited at this blog http://www.outthinkin.blogspot.com/
We refuse to remain reactive here at Grace Community, we want to be Proactive. Because we serve an amazing GOD! Continue to pray and watch God work. I can't wait to see what unfolds.
