Tank Ride

We did a sermon series here at Grace called "Operation Strongheart." In that series we addressed the values of a good soldier that are referred to in the Bible. During this series, I had the opportunity to honor military veterans of each branch. I also was able to do some fun things, to set up the message.

I traveled down to southern Indiana and drove a tank. Pastor Rich was the video guy, so he too went for a ride. It was simply an amazing time. We were able to drive home the point that we must be ready to defend ourselves when the enemy attacks.

I have so much respect for our soldiers who have served and for those who gave their lives. Take time this weekend to thank the military personal that you come across. Take time today and thank God for the freedom we experience in America.

Oh yeah, the tank ride just rocked!
