Dad

I love this photo of my dad and Isaiah on the beach. Dad is feeding his grandson another story. My kids don't get many chances to hang out with their grandfather but when they do it warms my heart. One of the realities of ministry is that we had to leave family behind. So when we get these opportunities we cherish them.

I asked Isaiah what dad was telling him, and dad was telling him that the piece of wood in his hand came from Blackbeard's Shipwreck! Well, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree when it come to story-telling.

Thanks Dad, I love you and am grateful that you gave me life and invested in me. I cherish each moment I get to spend with you. The world is a better place because of you.
