Deep Down

I have been thinking a lot about what I heard at the leadership Summit last week. A few quotes really resonated with me as other men said them. These quotes and their truths are embedded deep down in my soul. I trust they encourage you today!

Wes Stafford... "No experience in your life is wasted by God!"

Good or bad, God uses them to refine and make us stronger.

"When you choose not forgive others, we give them permission to live rent free in our lives"

The only person we are hurting, is us.

"Unforgiveness is the number entrance point for Satan in our lives"

Bitterness, resentment set the stage for all kinds of evil.

David Gergen... "Flabby stomachs lead to flabby minds!"

Discipline is a character of a great leader

"Be the change you want to see in the world, if you want to see the world change"

Oh my goodness is this so true, quit critiquing until nausea and do something proactive!

Bono... "the church is best known for what it stands against then what it stands for."

I wanted to scream, YES!

Bill Hybels... from Scripture... "For the eyes of the LORD range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him"

Please, Jesus let me be on your radar screen when you go searching through Indiana!
