The in-between-time

Sometimes we forget who we are in Christ. We forget what side we find ourselves on. We forget that our present situation is not the end of the story. We lose heart in the waiting room. We are human, so it is easy to forget that God has it covered. The in-between-time can be keep us up at night, and cause us to be weary.

Yet, God has already planned the ending! He has walked ahead of us and surveyed the unknown for us. He promises to work all things out for good for those that love him. I find great comfort in those words when the future seems bleak.

I was reminded of the array of emotion that we can experience, after revisiting these photos of a Fairfield Basketball Game last year. My son Josh, grabbed a missed shot and followed it up, and banked home the winning shot, when it seemed like the game would end differently.

Look at the sequence of pictures of the fans, and now picture yourself on the winning side today!

Peace, comfort, and joy to you today, because Jesus promises to be with you always!

That was one of the greatest 5 seconds of up and down emotion I've ever had. What a great memory.
