Before every XC race at Fairfield, the girl's team gathers and prays together. They circle up in front of everyone, and unashamedly let everyone know that they need Jesus. I snapped this photo this past weekend at New Prairie. There were hundreds of people and tons of teams participating.
I wonder what our Savior thought as he looked down from heaven and witnessed these girls. Well, I know what I thought. I was proud, and felt this unusual love for these girls as they boldly proclaimed their allegiance to God.
Hannah, I want to say this today to you. "I am proud of the way you stand up for Jesus. I love your witness and I love the way you live your life out in the open in front of everything. There is no doubt Jesus is proud of you too."
There is no doubt in my mind that the world is a better place because of your footprints. I come alive when people say, that is Hannah's Dad! I am blessed to have a daughter like you. Run Hannah, Run!

I'm just going to pretend those last words were for me from my heavenly Father.
