We said goodbye tonight, to our thai kids at the airport. You might as well ripped my heart right out of me. They followed us upstairs, and stood at the glass window, as we worked our way through customs. Our team wept as we waved from a distance.
THIS IS WHY we must come back with another team. THIS IS WHY we flew on the other side of the world. THIS IS WHY Grace Community invested in Asia's Hope. THIS IS WHY we will see them become the next leaders of Asia.
As I greeted them in the aiport before we said goodbye, they gathered around me and clung to me. As I was loving on them, one of the leaders told them in THAI that I was their daddy. They hugged me and smiled.As we were saying goodbye, I told Hannah how hard it is to say goodbye and she said ,"Dad it is not goodbye, we will be back." THAT IS WHY Hannah and I traveled here, they are family! To all the dads and moms and siblings of Grace, Join the next team and visit your family!

wow! that is soooooo cool! I love what our churches are doing over there. we just filled our second orphanage. now we have one in cambodia and one in thailand! Sarah and I are going over in June... so excited! would love to chat sometime about your experiences if the chance ever arises.
