Fairfield won the sectional championship last night in double overtime against a very tough Jimtown team. Jimtown runs a patient flex offense that slows things down. Yet our guys survived a shot at the buzzer that tied the game in regulation by Jimtown. There is nothing like cutting down the nets after a championship.
It was a blackout night for our student section, Isaiah and Hannah were awesome fans. I love this picture of my kids enjoying the night together.
Anne and I cherished the moment too. It was quite a night and we had some moments that had us on the edge of our seats. Notice the sweat rings under my arms!
This is just priceless. Isaiah's buddies were envious of this moment!

The winning team!We took time to just savor the moment and not move on too quickly, because not many people get this kind of chance in their lifetime. I had many emotions running through my mind that evening and the one that surfaced the most was joy. I was so happy for the boys and coaches because they worked so hard to make this happen.
Way to go guys it doesn't get any sweeter than this!

Oh man!!! EXCITING TIMES!!! WAY TO GO!!! I love it! I remember when Ryan's team won the State Champ title, it was sooo exciting!! Good Luck Josh!!
Wow, Jim.....guess it was worth having to view your sweaty armpits to see the rest of these pics....Congrats Josh! You are an absolutely awesome guy and obviously special big brother....that pic with Isaiah is just so cool! Again, Jim, can't tell you how much I appreciate your willingness to not only share, but also point out your sweaty pits! lol
