This past Sunday our campus Pastor in South Bend had a minor heart-attack. Tim is a super Leader, Pastor, Father and Husband. He has just moved our campus in South Bend to a more permanent location and has led them for three years. Ministry is very demanding on pastors. I love this guy, he is a great teammate for Grace Community and he gives his all for Jesus. He had surgery yesterday to place a stint in one of his arteries that was blocked. Tim is young he is 36 years old and active. The surgery went well and Tim is in good spirits.
I encourage you today to recognize that our lives are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then disappears. Make the most of your life, like Tim does. Also, get a good health plan in order, because if this can happen to a healthy guy, imagine what it could look like for others.
Pray for Tim as he recovers and pray for our precious campus in South Bend!
