Without a doubt this was one of the most creative and best ideas that Grace has ever come up with. We had a Winter Beach Blast Celebration yesterday. I preached on the real issues of depression that overwhelm us during this time of year; we planned fun and crazy games for married couples; we worshipped while beach balls were bouncing everywhere; and we just had fun!

We competed with musical beach balls...
We passed out colorful leis to everyone.My inbox has been full with positive comments. I really believe that people needed that yesterday, and walked away refreshed and revived. I also believe I gave people permission to admit that they are struggling with depression. I also believe that Satan was defeated on many levels yesterday, as the dark cloud that hovers during this time of year was brought to light!
Wow what a great way to do life together with Gracies!
