Thanks Craig

One of the many beautiful things about ministry, is the chance you get to spend with staff members, in community. Craig Koble has done an excellent job for us, over the last 3 1/2 years at Grace. On Sunday, we took time to honor him as he feels led by God to move on to another position.

We have come to love him deeply and will miss him very much, but we are so grateful for the time God has given us to work together. His hand prints all over Grace, and because of his efforts hundreds of people have found Jesus.

So, we took time to pray for him, but he wasn't sure he should close his eyes during the prayer, because we are known to do so crazy things. I love this picture, because it captures the DNA of Grace. We laughed, we cried, we enjoyed the moment, knowing full well that God has the future all taken care of.

As a parting gift to Craig, we showed an old clip of him doing a cartwheel during one of the moments in our services. We also had some fun, reminding him of when we convinced him that his pants were split, when they really weren't.

We love you Craig and a big heart-felt thanks for all you have done. Grace Community Church is a better place because of you!
