This is where I spent my lunch hour. I gathered with other people from Goshen and prayed for our country, on the lawn of the courthouse today.
I always walk away blessed after spending this kind of time in a public way. I love just mingling in with the people and not having to be the upfront guy. It was so good to go there as Jim from New Paris and not as Pastor Jim.
Besides, the playing field is level at the cross, and that is the way I like it to be. I do passionately love the call on my life as a pastor, but I'm not into entitlement because of position.
I can't wait to see the difference our prayers made today, because when the church prays together, it moves the heart of God!
