There are many moments in a person's life when your name carries a ton of weight. It takes years to build character and integrity and seconds to lose it.
Last night, there were team introductions and the visiting team was announced. One by one they stood on the first base line. As they stood there, each player's name was revealed to the crowd. It struck me that immediately something could be associated with each name.
I wonder what people think when your name appears on a document, surfaces in a conversation, or is worn by your son or daughter at a sporting event?
Here is what began to happen to me as I walked down this line with my eyes. I saw a group of men that carried themselves with some outstanding qualities and I was glad I got to rub shoulders with them.
When all is stripped away, you have Jesus and your name!
