So much has unfolded since this family photo 8 years ago. I love looking back and remembering all that God has done in our lives. It is in the looking-back-times that my faith is strengthened!Whenever I need a little boost in my faith walk, I turn the pages of my journal and remember how God has carried me through. I remember how he answered prayer request that we lost sleep over. I remember the blessings out of right field that revealed that he was real and loved us. I remember how he carried us through the hard trials of life. The list goes on.
All that to say this: if you need a boost today, pull out some old pictures, and flashback it will ignite your faith in a fresh way.

I am already a mess today (Lucy went to kindergarten this morning), then this blog post from you. heh. I can't escape the emotion and the thankfulness that is erupting in my chest. Crying in my cubicle.
