name dropping

There is such an identity crisis in Christianity. Way too many people live below the redemptive potential God created them to live. Insecurity floods the pages of Christian's lives. Yet why is that?

I understand all the damage that has been passed on from the scars of the past. I know they are real and sometimes require years of healing, yet I still believe if we readjusted our lenses acutely, to the above reality, then we could begin a fresh path of healing.

I have been asked on many occasions where my I get so much faith, why I seem to have such confidence or any other variation of that question. The answer is this: I know who I am related to. I know where I am seated. I know I am an heir to the Lord of Lords and King of Kings.

I enjoy listening to people drop names, and I have done the same on many occasions, but if you really want a boost in your step, drop the name of Jesus. Because the Bible tells us that we are seated with him in the heavenlies. Now if that doesn't juice you up then the Enemy has your mind twisted. Picture today where your seat is, and the identity crisis will vanish.

Ephesians 2:6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus

I am trying to memorize Psalm 27 right now and in the first verse alone is the idea that the Lord is ours to rely on... why be afraid?
