you never know with this group

We gathered for our elder/pastor Christmas party last night at our house. Needless to say it is a fun group to hang out with. One of the core ingredients of a healthy team is the ability to have fun.

The majority of our team was there and we had a white-elephant gift exchange. To say the least, our group raises the bar each year a few notches
Tim's wife, Lisa opened her gift and a white mouse was staring her down. You should have seen Lisa's face and heard all the screams in the room.

Keith received a new t-shirt to wear at his shop in Middlebury.

Anne received an album decked out with people in blue-crew shirts. Funny story about 78 albums ... I remember the first time my oldest son Josh saw one of these as a young kid. He looked at me with big eyes and said ,"wow dad that is a big computer disk!"
The best gift was Pastor Rich's personal calendar where he posed for pictures on each month. It had us in stitches laughing as we looked at each pose.
Darcy opened up her gift to find a fetal pig, yes a fetal pig. Oh my goodness after that we opened every gift with caution.
It sure was a hoot to carve out time to just have fun with people that you work so very hard with throughout the year.
