Who ever said that laughter can not fill the auditorium on Sunday mornings? Who ever said that laughter is irreverent? I have answers to that but will leave them in my mind.
In a world that is standing on the brink of hopelessness, a moment of laughter in the midst of life is refreshing! I love the picture above that was taken when Isaiah was on stage as a young child. Look at his face, man that just makes me chuckle!
This quote captures it better then I could ever say it:
"Should we not see that lines of laughter about the eyes are just as much marks of faith as are the lines of care and seriousness? Is it only earnestness that is baptized? Is laughter pagan? .... A church is in a bad way when it banishes laughter from the sanctuary and leaves it to the cabaret, the nightclub and the toastmasters" - Helmut Thielecke
Enjoy the day and when it seems right, laugh your head off!
