For years I have challenged men to pray with not just for their wives each day, but the percentages show so few do. I firmly believe the primary reason for so many breakups in marriages is because we have not asked for protection each day.
Men have come up with every reason under the sun as to why they have not implemented this discipline and the list is long. And I often tell them if it was easy, everyone would do it. The primary reason men don't, is because they are opposed by an Enemy. The Enemy does not want you to pray because he knows it leaves him defenseless. So he will do whatever he can to distract you from doing this.
I ask those of you reading this blog, does your husband pray with you each day? Or do you as a man pray with your wife and family? As I look at this picture and it brings tears to my eyes because my son Josh is covering the flank and Isaiah, Anne, and Hannah are untouchable.
Begin today with a simple prayer of protection but don't be surprised if you are opposed!

One of the many changes since Jim Brown and Grace Community Church became a huge part of our lives is that my husband prays with me at least twice a day EVERY day:)
