Because for some this is a very lonely day. Many people long badly to be loved by someone and when they meet a smiling face with a free chocolate bar it helps them to realize that they are loved and someone cares about them.
We do it because we care!

amen!! We met a few people who seemed to really need a smiling face and some cheer in their day. This was our kids first blitz and they loved giving out the bars to everyone (=
