Snatching people from the fire

Yesterday was a culmination of our church caring enough to reach their friends far from God that they went the extra mile to see that they were snatched from the fire.

We have been in a month long series called "My Hope" where the Hope in Jesus has been lifted up. Gracies have been praying, sharing, and inviting people to hear about the hope that is found in Jesus.

Yesterday we wrapped up our series with an evangelistic message ending in a chance for people to surrender their lives and trust in Jesus as their Eternal Hope. This is a snapshot of what can happen when Christ-followers take seriously their chance to tell others about Jesus.

We spoke about how the cross is an anchor for our souls...

We shared how that hope changes everything

We gave people an opportunity to grab the lifeline of Jesus and the cross...

We reminded them that God can make something beautiful from the mess of their lives..

We reminded them that at the end of the age the good will be separated from the bad...

We showed them that Jesus was the forerunner of our faith by going to the cross...

We celebrated in every service and loved on the new Christ-followers...

We were deeply moved as we sang with the worship team as people came..

We were blown away by the way God moved and people held onto the lifeline of Jesus...

We felt the breakthrough in the room as we saw people cross over from death to life...

We experienced the emotions of this moment...

I praise God to be part of church that has a heart for people far from God. I am truly blessed to be a small part in this mighty plan of God! It is a day I will never forget, nor do I want to!
