Life is full of decisions. They come at you from all directions, sometimes from every direction at the same time. It requires great focus and attention to detail, to get it right. One of the things I am learning, as I grow as a leader, is that I need to always be ready for the next curve ball, that comes my way. I must be able to respond quickly to the stuff flying my way. Because I could be fooled quickly.
In this picture above, my son Josh, has his eye on the ball, and is making a decision to let this one go. It was a good choice for him, to let it go. All the while, the pitcher wanted him to swing at it. I wonder how often we get fooled by a curve ball. Be alert and ready the enemy is prowling around throwing curve balls, don't swing!
