Spring Baseball In Indiana

It is that time of year here in the Brown household, Varsity Baseball at Fairfield High School. This week is Spring Break and we will spend our week watching Josh play baseball. The weather is cold, we sat in the game above in 40 degree weather, with the windchill making it feel like 21. It was flat out cold.

Four more games this week, and the weather forecast is 38 degrees for the next two games, with a chance of snow. In a weird way, it is fun to sit with everyone bundled up in sleeping bags, blankets, parkas and hot chocolate. The picture above was in Saturday's paper of Josh sliding back into first.

Oh well tomorrow I plan on taking the boat and paddling it down turkey creek in 38 degree weather. If you are a parent of a baseball kid, in high school spring baseball, it is fun and cold. Go Falcons, I got my 30 degree sleeping bag loaded in the van!
