I love looking back and remembering the great things that God has done at Grace. This past Sunday we did, just that. We spotlighted the top 9 of 2009. It was so good to see what Jesus did. I was blown away by all the changed lives and how Jesus became fresh and real to so many people.I was deeply moved as we had people stand up if they were baptized or made a decision to follow Jesus as their Lord and Savior. In fact, that was my very favorite moment of the celebration as men and women stood to say, I am still here! Man, my heart was ready to explode as I saw all the stories of people standing.
As a pastor you carry a tremendous amount of weight in your heart for people. You receive inside information about situations that most never hear. So, when I looked out and saw each individual, my heart exploded because of what Jesus has done in their lives.
It's was a banner year for Jesus, but I believe the best is yet to come. How about you? What moment, event , service, do you look back on and praise Jesus for? Write them down and lets celebrate!

My parents story you posted comes to mind. But honestly, there are too many to name... what a blessing this church is to me and my family.
