We choose to believe that God will never leave us, nor forsake us. We choose to believe that He will supply all our needs. We choose to believe that He will work out all things for his good.
We choose to believe that greater is He that is in us then he that is in the world. We choose to believe that He hold all things together. We choose to believe that we are more than conquerors! We choose to believe that all things are possible with Him.
We choose to renew our minds daily with the truths of His Word! Anyone else out there, choose to believe that?

I was just praying through this yesterday! Let's CHOOSE to believe God's Word. I'm done with ALLOWING my own belief to be hindered by "grown-up insecurities."
God has recently shown me how my power to believe God's promises was weak and anemic (how that must have grieved Him!) BECAUSE I was unknowingly preventing myself from feeling, knowing, and experiencing the FULLNESS of His LOVE.
In other words, how can I trust and believe anyone if I don't FIRST experience love at the core of the relationship?
You see, the rational, believing disciple in me was keeping my inner child away from Jesus, the child who NEEDS love more than anything else.
(Like me, the disciples probably believed they had good intentions with keeping the children away from Jesus.)
But now I realize Jesus has a place in His arms for me! And He's not happy until I'm there. He longs to place His hand on me and BLESS me! He really does. Just because He LOVES me.
So when I finally permit myself to come to Him and experience His love, as a needy and hurt child, then I can begin to trust and believe God's promises.
Because it's one thing to receive a promise from a respectable coworker in life. But it's something else entirely to receive a warm promise -- while cuddled up in loving arms -- from Daddy.
I can believe that. Or at least the child in me can.
While I don't attend Grace, I've been praying for you and your family, Pastor Jim. Protection and blessing. God is moving. Thank you for plugging your faith into God's power. I know you're praying for your Grace community, but your prayers and energies are spilling out. It's fantastically crazy!
God Bless you! I just prayed for you
