This weekend we felt the full wave of emotion that every parent does as they send their child off to college. I wasn't ready for the way it hit me. I had a lot of heart to the throat moments. Yet it was so good to see my son take the next step in life.
Yes, I cried a few times this weekend, especially when I sat on his bed in his empty room this morning. And it is hard to believe that he is a college freshman but he is so ready for this new stage in life.
And I want to say this to Josh, you have carried the Brown name with dignity, honor and respect! I am so very proud of you son and the way you love Jesus !
The photo above was taken right before we left Grace College this afternoon. It was so good to drive away and know that Josh is in the hands of God! Go be a world changer SON!
