follow through

If you do not follow through with your shot in golf you don't hit your target. This afternoon as Isaiah was hitting some range balls before his team practice began he made sure to follow through. Swing after swing he launched his shots at the designated area.


It really struck me as he was hitting, that in order for us hit our target for the day, week, month, or year we too must follow through. Yet, far too many people don't follow through and end up far short of where God had intended them to be.


The benefits of following through with an assignment leaves one with a sweet feeling of satisfaction. In the game of golf, there is nothing like watching the flight of the ball after you hit it squarely. And the net results is a better score and more control of the the final destination of the ball.
