front row seat

This is my view on Sunday mornings at Grace Community in the Main auditorium, at the same time in the LINK auditorium directly behind this, another group gathers for each of our 3 morning services.

This Sunday I felt led to have a family talk with my church. A talk like a father has with his kids, a shepherd with his people, a leader with his followers. I wanted to tell them that Jesus is working out a perfect plan for their lives. I wanted them to know that no matter what comes their way the God of the universe is crafting their lives into something good, really good, even heavenly good.

I reminded them that this is not their final home and to hold loosely to the things of this earth. I told them that it was going to be okay because God is in control.

Sometimes kids need to hear from their parents, there will come a day when they will look back on this day and say,"wow look what Jesus has done!"

It was a good Sunday to bring my church into my front room and share from my heart that Jesus loves them and I do too. Everyone needs to be reminded of that from time to time or the break-neck pace of life will do them in!

Hey Jim! Loved your message and especially the way you presented it. Great photo.

Powerful image! Looking Grace in the face like this must be daunting when you're the one God has called to shepherd this flock. You're doing a great job, Jim. We feel your love, because it's straight from the heart of the One you serve. It doesn't seem like enough to just say thank you, but thank you.
